I build backend applications and REST APIs with Python, FastAPI, and Flask. My work includes authentication, database-driven applications, API design, file handling, background processing, and backend testing using technologies such as SQLAlchemy, MongoDB, Redis, Docker, and pytest.

Internship Experience
Software Engineering Trainee Intern — Family Shell LLP
May 2026 – October 2026
I completed an internship as a Software Engineering Trainee Intern at Family Shell LLP, contributing to the company's production applications.
Family Shell — Family Management Application
I worked on the Health Records module, investigating production backend issues and improving existing code and architecture. My work involved FastAPI, MongoDB, Redis, Docker, Cloudflare R2, and REST APIs.
I fixed 27 production bugs, including health-record attachment issues involving Cloudflare storage and problems with CRUD operations for health record reminders. I also refactored duplicated code and redesigned parts of the Health Records architecture while maintaining backward compatibility with existing records.
VoiceConnect — Customizable AI Calling Agent
I designed the initial architecture, researched and documented Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) strategies, and implemented the agent layer with provider-agnostic support for language models, embeddings, vector databases, and tool calling. I also worked on the speech layer, including speech-to-text with Deepgram and text-to-speech integrations with ElevenLabs and Murf, and on telephony integration involving Exotel.
Some of my most valuable engineering lessons have come from problems where the obvious fix was not necessarily the right architectural solution.
MCP Identity and Secure User Context
Designed an identity and authorization flow for an MCP-enabled AI assistant without exposing internal database identifiers to the language model. The approach used Personal Access Tokens and separated external resource references from internal database identity.
Production File Storage and Attachment Architecture
Investigated expired attachment URLs in the Family Shell Health Records module and redesigned the storage-access flow around object paths and short-lived presigned URLs while preserving compatibility with existing production data.
Identified an architectural issue where reminders used the creator's timezone instead of the health-record subject's timezone. Redesigned timezone resolution and UTC scheduling around the person whose record the reminder concerned.
